Privacy

Bass Woodshed has no accounts and keeps your practice in your own browser.

What stays on your device

Your settings, progress, medals, practice calendar and notes are stored in your browser’s local storage. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data, or “Reset progress”, removes them.

Listen mode uses your microphone only while it is switched on. The sound is analysed in your browser to find the note you played. It is not recorded, stored or sent anywhere.

What we receive

Visit statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.

The Pro waitlist. If you ask to be told when Pro is ready, we store your email address, the date and the page you were on, and use it only to send that one email. Ask us to delete it at any time.

Pre-orders. Payments are taken by Stripe, which passes us your name, email and country so we can deliver Pro and handle refunds. We never see your card details. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
